Three Egyptian startups participate in "GITEX AI Europe" with support from ITIDA
Egyptian startups SSTM, Fruitful Solutions, and Makkook AI showcased their AI and deep-tech innovations at GITEX Europe AI 2026 in Berlin as part of ITIDA's startup acceleration program.
Three Egyptian startups participated in GITEX Europe AI 2026, held in Berlin, Germany, from June 30 to July 1, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the global presence of Egypt's emerging technology companies.
The participating startups—SSTM, Fruitful Solutions, and Makkook AI—are members of the Deep-Tech Electronics Startup Accelerator, an initiative implemented by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) under Egypt's "Egypt Makes Electronics" (EME) initiative.
The accelerator is delivered in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and TUM International, the commercialization and consulting arm of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Showcasing AI and Deep-Tech Innovations
GITEX Europe AI is the European edition of GITEX Global, one of the world's leading technology and startup exhibitions. The event aims to accelerate AI-driven digital transformation across Europe while providing a platform for startups, innovators, and technology leaders to showcase emerging technologies and explore new business opportunities.
During the exhibition, the Egyptian startups presented their latest solutions in artificial intelligence, deep technology, and electronics.
They also held meetings with innovators, investors, technology executives, and potential business partners from around the world, creating opportunities for international collaboration, market expansion, and commercial growth.
